Prior to commencing practice as a solicitor, Graham was a consulting civil engineer, involved in the design, inspection and supervision of a wide range of projects. After being admitted, Graham commenced practice with Freehill Hollingdale & Page (as the firm was then known). Graham has also held senior corporate roles with two of Australia’s largest public companies, as well as senior roles in boutique legal practices. Throughout his career, Graham has been engaged in the areas of infrastructure, building and construction, property development, commercial litigation and insolvency and general corporate advisory.
While at Freehill Hollingdale & Page, Graham worked with some of Australia’s pre-eminent commercial and litigation lawyers. That experience, along with his background in engineering, and the experience gained in private practice and public companies, has equipped him to deal with a wide range of matters in his areas of practice. Graham has advised on projects including international airports, public hospitals, convention and exhibition centres, large mixed-use developments, gas processing plants and gas pipelines.
Graham’s expertise and experience assist clients to resolve disputes early by mediating matters that arise within his areas of practice. Graham is also an Adjudicator, registered with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission, and in that capacity is regularly called upon to make decisions under the Building and Construction Industry Payments Act 2004
