Chris is a partner within our corporate group, working with both corporate/M&A clients as well as parties to litigation and dispute resolution matters. Prior to joining Dowd & Co, Chris was the principal of his own firm where he focused on commercial advisory and litigation, acting on behalf clients including mining and resource firms, property developers, liquidators and international venture capital groups.
Chris’s experience covers a variety industries from banking and finance to SMEs and start-ups, as well as government and regulators, as well as assisting international clients and foreign law firms, in work ranging from joint ventures and liquidations, to administrative reviews, property development, High Court appeals and intellectual property disputes.
In his practice, Chris insists upon commercial outcomes and ensuring client receive strategic advice, not just from the black and white legal perspective. Chris calls upon his directorship experience with a number of national companies in a range of industries, lending his experience and guidance in expansion and governance matters.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Laws from Queensland University of Technology
